13th March – Unity Place Launch Event & Launch of New Art Exhibition, PopCult! by Haus of Thrills

We are thrilled to announce that Unity Place has fully opened and to mark the opening, Unity Place will be hosting a launch event on 13th March from 5-8pm.

The evening will include the launch of Unity Place’s exciting new art exhibition by Kyle Wilkinson. Kyle Wilkinson aka ThrillKid, is the British artist, founder and mastermind behind the electrifying contemporary art studio, HAUS of THRILLS.

A prolific creator, Wilkinson’s clients have previously included, Mercedes-Benz, The New York Times, Adobe, Mars, Santander and even the EU. Alongside a growing client list he’s also been nominated for “Furniture Design Of The Year” twice and launched his debut lighting collection, Facet, at London Design Week in 2017.

HAUS of THRILLS explode into spaces with excitement and vibrancy, with bold colour, humour and social commentary a common thread throughout their work. With their new show Popcult!, HAUS of THRILLS invites you into a world of nostalgia and fascination, where they tempt visitors to celebrate the timeless icons of popular culture.

Popcult! delves into this mesmerising theme through vibrant pop art portraits of beloved icons Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Alan Turing, and more in their signature echo-repeat style. Each figure stares back at us with the same hypnotic love gaze that we, the devoted, look upon them with.

To mark the exhibition launch, Kyle Wilkinson will be painting a live piece on the night of the launch party for guests to enjoy. In addition, guests can enjoy food from Dipna Anand Kitchen, Toast Brewing and the new food market vendors, such as Twerk’n’Jerk.
