Business Crime Partnership launching soon

A new partnership will soon go live inviting members to join a one-stop shop for all matters of crime and anti-social behaviour. We feel that we as the BID are best placed to deliver this partnership but can only do so with committed involvement from members

The partnership will be free of charge and will most likely utilise DISC from Littoralis to share the information in a DP/GDPR fashion, whilst allowing us to communicate quickly to tackle major incidents and recurring issues such as the recent anti-vax protesters. The next stage will be rolling out a Shopwatch, Evening Economy involvement, Business Continuity training, probable Radio Scheme and continued support from our ambassadors and partnership funded Police Officers.

MyMiltonKeynes Business Improvement District has always had business-related crime, anti-social behaviour, business continuity and keeping the area resilient as some of our main concerns as the BID. We already have several Safe City initiatives that we have been funding throughout our first term but it is our firm ambition to develop these into a partnership that will bring together all the main stakeholders, centres and like-minded individuals for detecting and preventing crime.

We were voted in again for another 5-year term in December last year and we are committed to developing and improving the condition and experience of CMK for the benefit of local businesses as stated in our Business Plan.

When invitations are received, we encourage you to please sign up and feel free to contribute any intel you may have to assist in deterring criminal behaviour.
