Kicking things off in style, Chris shares his own experience of indoor skydiving, samples some of the latest food and drink offerings, showcases a new luxury store and learns more about a local employee who has served the Milton Keynes community for a whopping 28 years!

I joined Office Manager Cassy to experience the Indoor Skydiving at Xscape Milton Keynes. Shane and the team from IFLY kitted us both out in our flight suits before Lake, our instructor, took us for four minutes each into the exhilarating wind tunnel! Afterward, we were treated to photos and videos of our thrilling time at IFLY. MyMiltonKeynes in conjunction with IFLY are currently offering a ‘fly any time’ deal of 2 minutes for just ten pounds. This month marked the launch of a new restaurant in Xscape Milton Keynes called Slim Chickens. I went down to meet Maz and her team to officially welcome them to the city. On July 4th they open four new venues around the country growing their national locations to 22. Welcome to Milton Keynes Slim Chickens!

I was contacted by Beaverbrooks this month, letting me know about their new franchise and luxury store ‘Loupe’. From your choice of perfectly mixed drinks and gourmet delights to your favourite sounds drifting through the speakers, you’ll remember your every experience at the loupe boutique. On the second hottest day in history, I decided to test out Brewhouse& Kitchens Workspace offer.
