Marks & Spencer, Milton Keynes has a secret, and we want to help share it…

We have discovered a secret, and we want to share it with you all. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month so we thought this would be the fitting time to showcase the support and guidance you may require finding a bra suitable for you, post-surgery.

We know that this can be a difficult subject to talk about, but we want those of you who require this service to know where to find the support you need.

Marks & Spencer offer a range of post-surgery bras, suitable for those who have undergone a half or full mastectomy, lymph node removal and transgender changes. The range of bras are made of soft, flexible materials to keep you comfortable through rest and recovery and are non-wired in design for maximum comfort during the healing process. Discover more here.

A staff member at Marks & Spencer in Milton Keynes, explained that each one of their in-store Bra Fitting Specialists undergo training through the company’s ‘Product Academy’. This training ensures that everyone receives the best possible advice and personal service they may need at this difficult time.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK with 1 woman diagnosed every 10 minutes. Around 55,000 women and 400 men are diagnosed with breast cancer every year in the UK and, during this Breast Cancer Awareness Month, nearly 5,000 people will be diagnosed.

With these shocking statistics in mind, we not only want to raise awareness of how Marks & Spencer can support you post-surgery, but how you can ensure you are checking yourself regularly and correctly. Please visit the links below for guidance and information.
