Red Bull Racing Homerun take to the streets of Milton Keynes

After their double Championship winning Formula 1 season, the Oracle Red Bull Racing Team are taking to the streets of Central Milton Keynes for a celebratory homerun event for the first time in over a decade.

Offering a significant boost for local businesses in CMK, the free to attend homerun, which will see the Red Bull RB7 driven through the city from Midsummer Boulevard, will run from midday until 3pm on Saturday 10th December.

Thousands are expected to be drawn to the event to see a spectacular display of Red Bull Motorsport power, and catch a glimpse of double World Champion Max Verstappen, 2022 Grand Prix winner Sergio ‘Checo’ Pérez and CEO Christian Horner.

The Red Bull Racing Technology Campus in Milton Keynes underpins the city’s reputation as an internationally recognised area for innovation and advanced engineering capabilities. In the 17 years since the state-of-the-art campus opened, the Red Bull Racing Team has received huge support from local communities and the Homerun is testament to the team’s recognition of this.

Melanie J Beck MBE, Chief Executive at MyMiltonKeynes said: “The return of the Red Bull Racing team’s Milton Keynes Homerun will create a celebratory occasion for local people. It’s been an incredible season for the team, and I am delighted that they are closing out the year by taking to the streets of the city they call home.

This event provides a huge opportunity for extra footfall for businesses in the city at a key time of the year, and we have worked with everyone involved to ensure the event is managed efficiently so everyone can enjoy the action.”
