Will you go the extra mile to make a difference to young people’s lives?

Will you go the extra mile to make a difference to young people’s lives?

Every step you take makes a positive difference if you take up a free Action4Youth place and join our MK Marathon weekend team.

Our current fantastic team of 11 runners from businesses and organisations in MK is limbering up and we have secured a further 10 places for inspiring runners (or would-be runners). This is your chance to get super-motivated with support from your sponsors, fellow runners and Action4Youth.

Action4Youth has been working with young people for over 70 years delivering educational programmes that transform young people’s lives and futures, supporting youth clubs and delivering outstanding adventure education at our specialist centre, The Caldecotte Xperience. Over 25,000 young people, their families and communities benefit every year from Action4Youth’s work.

What you run, how fast or slow you run, and what you raise is your choice – every single step and every single penny makes a difference to young people locally.

  • Raise £500 sponsorship for the 26.2 miles MK Marathon on Bank Holiday Monday 1 May
  • Raise £250 sponsorship for the 13.1 miles of the MK Half Marathon on Bank Holiday Monday 1 May
  • Raise £250 sponsorship for the MK Turing 10k on Sunday 30 April

If you run the Turing and one of the Bank Holiday Monday events raising £750, you’ll secure yourself a third MK Challenge medal, and they really are something!

The MK Marathon and Half Marathon are hugely popular, flat courses through beautiful lakes, parks and surrounding villages of Milton Keynes. Supporters abound to cheer you on, and with a race village at Campbell Park with a finish line festival – it’s perfect place for family and friends to join you to celebrate your achievement.

Make 2023 the year you make a difference and achieve for yourself, and for Action4Youth. Register your place with bonnie.clayton@action4youth.org. With your support we can help more young people, more families and more communities – go on – be a superhero for young people!
