August’s Fab Five

In our latest update to the Fab 5 series, our Operations and Marketing Coordinator, Christopher Beck, shares MyMiltonKeynes’ top five achievements for the month.

Kicking off August, Chris shares how levy payers can utilise our job vacancy platform, reveals where you can enjoy a brand new brunch menu in the City Centre, recaps the My JL x Revolution x MyMiltonKeynes event, as well as the ‘Summer of Fun’ experience at Cineworld, and showcases the Back to School Competition, in partnership with Wing Kingz!

1. Hollister/Sunglass Hut

MyMiltonKeynes used to (as you all know) run a very successful job page on behalf of its levy payers, which is currently under construction, as is the website. We hope to have more news on when this will be live soon. Christopher decided to use Instagram/Facebook’s 24-hour stories feature as an innovative way to engage with the company’s social media followers, broadcasting key information about current vacancies.

2. My JL Day x Revolution x MyMiltonKeynes

On the 27^th August, John Lewis had its annual ‘My JL’ members event. Usually, this is held over two days, but this year it was held over one and spanned across the various floors of the store. Entertainment ranged from superhero meet-and-greets, to DJ’s, make up trials and much more. MyMiltonKeynes was asked to facilitate one of our partners to provide cocktail tasters as a pop stand. It was a terrific opportunity for revolution to get in front of a client base it might not usually attract, just in time for Christmas party bookings. MyMiltonKeynes was also present to provide support to Claire as well as speak to the public about what MyMiltonKeynes does in the city.

3. Cineworld Summer of Fun

On Saturday 27^th August, MyMiltonKeynes provided 10 deck chairs to Cineworld Milton Keynes for the exciting ‘Summer of Fun’ event. This consisted of a beach like display using the deck chairs from the foyer and facilitating an instant win competition.

4. Middleton’s Brunch Menu

Middleton’s Steakhouse and Grill, located on Midsummer Blvd, launched its new brunch menu earlier this month. £31.50pp with a wide-ranging menu and unlimited drinks for 2 whole hours. Get in contact with sebastian@middletons-shg.co.uk to book your brunch now!

5. Back to School Competition

MyMiltonKeynes proudly partnered with The Theatre, Wing Kingz and John Lewis to launch a Back-to-School competition running from the 24^th August to the 1^st September. The lucky winner will receive over £100’s worth of stationary essentials from John Lewis, a Family ticket for Joseph and The Technicolor Dream Coat at MK Theatre and a meal for four at Wing Kingz.
