Become a MyMiltonKeynes Board Member

Are you passionate about our City Centre and interested in driving forward improvements in the area?

We are looking to recruit board members to the MyMiltonKeynes BID Board.  The Board is primarily made up of representatives of levy paying businesses and has the responsibility for financial arrangements, contractual obligations, human resources, standards and compliance, and strategic direction. It advises on operational and service delivery issues, oversee performance management, and more generally act as the primary consultative body on BID services.

Being a board member is an unpaid role and you would be appointed as a Director under the Companies Act 2006, and will, be registered as such with Companies House.  Board meetings take place four times a year, usually at 3pm on a Wednesday.

We currently have three vacancies for representatives of levy paying businesses from the retail sector, the office/business sector and the independent/non specific sector.  We also have vacancies for persons with specialisms, who would be co-opted to be Directors where necessary from time to time.
