Development under new direction at leading youth charity

Young people across the City of Milton Keynes are set to benefit from the determination and experience of Action4Youth’s newly-appointed Development Director, Claire Hawkes.

Claire is excited to work directly in a charity she knows well from her previous posts, most recently as Service Director for Strategic Partnerships at Buckinghamshire Council.

“I’ve been a huge fan of Action4Youth for over 7 years watching from the sidelines, so I am delighted to become part of a fantastic team who make a huge difference to young people. The breadth of work Action4Youth does is remarkable. It means so much to hear directly from the young people, the difference our work makes to them – it really is so important.”

Her role growing opportunities for young people, developing partnerships and providing possibilities for collaboration is aimed at giving everyone the chance to be inspired by the positive work of Action4Youth. The charity works in partnership with local authorities, businesses, charitable foundations and individuals to create opportunities for young people to develop knowledge, skills and confidence through new experiences and supported challenges.

Claire is eager to hear from any businesses, schools or individuals who would like to benefit by working with Action4Youth in enriching the lives of the next generation – contact her via claire.hawkes@action4youth.org
