New Spring Summer menu to launch at LEON
From 17th May, find Arancini inspired by Sicilian Street food and a fresh summer salad perfect for picnics in the park joining the LEON Restaurant menu. The new Sunshine Squash Salad (£5.99) has 20 different varieties of plants, the squash is roasted in cumin and tops a fibre packed base of leafy greens, lentils and grains. Finished with vibrant gut-loving pink kraut, a sprinkling of sumac, fresh mint and parsley, go ahead and squeeze on that lemon wedge and tuck into this fresh summer salad.
LEON always puts plants into the spotlight, and they remain at the centre of LEON’s dishes. The two new dishes join various vegetarian and vegan favourites, you can find plenty of options for National Vegetarian Week such as the Lentil Masala (£5.99) a rich coconut curry spiced with cumin, ginger & mustard seeds; the Brazilian Black Beans Rice Box (£4.49) a vegan take on the traditional Brazilian feijoada, find slowly simmered black beans, carrots and onions spiced with sweet and smoked paprika and oregano served on Italian brown rice; the Love Burger (£6.49) a vegan burger topped with LEON’s LOVe Burger sauce, fresh tomato relish, crunchy lettuce, pickles and a slice of mature cheddar vegan cheeze and the Grilled Halloumi Wrap (£6.29) a Grilled Cypriot halloumi wrapped up with Aioli, spiced mango ketchup and cherry tomatoes.
