WE’RE HIRING! Could you be our new Marketing Director?

MyMiltonKeynes Business Improvement District (BID) has created the exciting new position of ‘Marketing Director’ to lead the BID’s marketing activities – creating, developing and implementing a strategic marketing plan to collectively promote the whole city centre offer.  The post-holder will be responsible for the creation of a new place marketing website, working with key partners in the city centre and delivering marketing campaigns that will showcase the city centre’s extensive offer, reminding MK residents how great the city centre is, those in the catchment area why they should come here, companies why they should locate here, and commuters why they should both stay in the city centre longer and consider moving here.

The post-holder will oversee the company’s corporate communications to BID levy-paying businesses; local stakeholders and partners; and with all media channels.  Reporting to the Chief Executive, the post-holder will be part of the senior management team, responsible to the Board of Directors to assure the BID’s accountability to all levy payers and ensuring its effective operation.
