Milton Keynes is entering a defining moment. Join us for an exclusive BID members’ event bringing together Universal, CMK:Live, East West Rail and Milton Keynes Council to share first‑hand insight into what’s happening now - and what’s coming next.

This evening also launches the BID3 consultation, shaping the next five years for our city centre. We have guest speakers:

Gidon Freeman, Vice President for External Affairs, Universal Destinations & Experiences: he will be sharing their plans to deliver the Universal Studios in Bedford, along with the wider opportunities jobs, skills and economic growth that this creates for Milton Keynes.

Emma Sullivan, Theatre Director, Ambassador Theatre Group: she will share plans for CMK:Live, the new city‑centre entertainment venue planned for the former bus station site.

Paul Thomas, Director of Planning and Placemaking, Milton Keynes Council: he will provide an update on growth plans for the city centre, including information on the proposed ‘New Town’.

Ed Leech, Head of Political Relations, East West Rail: he will provide an overview of East West Rail, explaining how the proposed railway will improve connectivity between Oxford, Milton Keynes, Bedford and Cambridge, and what this could mean for jobs, mobility and growth.

Ian Pulford, Chief Executive Officer, Smart City Consultancy: he will provide an update on the autonomous vehicle trial currently operating in Milton Keynes City Centre.
