MyMK Update: Celebrating Our Milton Keynes City Centre Landscaping Team

Updated: Jul 11

You wouldn’t believe it given the seemingly never-ending drizzle, but we are indeed approaching summer, and as we do so, the people of Milton Keynes will eagerly swap umbrellas for parasols and look forward to enjoying our vast array of outdoor spaces. It may be the first time in a while that many of us dare to explore the outdoors, but thanks to the tireless efforts of our dedicated MyMiltonKeynes (MyMK) Landscaping Team, our urban landscape is vibrant and inviting.

Meet Reggie, Sam, and Ben, the unsung heroes who have been working hard all year round, come rain, snow or shine, to ensure that every park, garden, and green space that MyMK is responsible for maintaining, is impeccably maintained and flourishing. Whatever the weather, their commitment and passion for landscaping is evident throughout the City Centre.

From meticulously pruning trees and shrubs to planting colourful flower beds and maintaining pristine lawns, The Team's expertise and hard work are evident in every corner of our outdoor spaces. Their attention to detail and dedication to sustainability not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of our city but also promote a healthier and more enjoyable environment for residents and visitors alike.

As we step into the warmer months, let's take a moment to appreciate the beauty around us and recognise the invaluable contributions of the MyMK Landscaping Team. Their efforts have made it possible for us to enjoy the splendour of summer in Milton Keynes City Centre, creating spaces where families can picnic, children can play, and everyone can connect with nature.

So, next time you take a leisurely stroll through one of our many parks or enjoy a sunny afternoon in your local garden, remember the hardworking team behind the scenes.

We don’t want to hide them away any longer so have created a dedicated Instagram account for our Team which we encourage you to follow – Not only will you receive regular updates on what is taking place in our public realm, but the Team will also be sharing their Top Landscaping Tips this summer which may just help you enhance your own Green spaces as well!
