Overview

Milton Keynes played host to two fantastic events in 2022, with the naming of Milton Keynes as a city and the marking of the late Queen’s incredible 70-year reign as monarch. The city hosted a long weekend of Jubilee/City status celebrations which attracted more than 2,500 people. They were treated to a parade which saw a number of organisations join together including MK SNAP, Salvation Army, MK Hindu Association, Girl Guides, Scout Groups, Dancebox, African Heritage Union, and the Islamic Arts Council. The BID also hosted an event for the largest number of princesses gathered in Fred Roche Gardens.
