
YOUR VOTE
The MyMiltonKeynes BID area encompasses the principal commercial, retail and leisure destinations that make up Milton Keynes City Centre.
Businesses and organisations liable for the BID Levy within the MyMiltonKeynes BID area are entitled to vote in the ballot.

One vote is issued for each eligible property (hereditament).

Organisations responsible for more than one eligible property will receive a vote for each qualifying property.

Properties with a rateable value of £50,000 or above are eligible for the BID Levy and the ballot.

Properties receiving mandatory charitable rate relief are exempt from the BID Levy and are not eligible to vote.

Where a property is vacant, the organisation listed as the ratepayer is entitled to vote.

Ballot papers will be sent out, by post to every eligible business in the BID area, from 24th September 2026.
To vote:

Complete the ballot paper.

Place it in the pre-paid return envelope provided.

Return it before the ballot closes at 5pm, on 22 October 2026.
Ballot papers can be returned:
✅ By post using the envelope provided
✅ By hand to Milton Keynes City Council's Civic Offices: 1 Saxon Gate East, MK9 3EJ. If the offices are closed you may post it through the council's letterbox.
Votes must be received before the ballot closes in order to be counted.
