MyMiltonKeynes BID is celebrating national success once again after winning Gold in the Street Scene / Visual Impact category and Silver in the Security & Safety category at the National BID Awards 2026, recognising the organisation’s transformative work across Milton Keynes City Centre.

Gold Award for Street Scene and Visual Impact in Milton Keynes
The Gold award recognises the BID’s hands-on approach to improving the look, feel and environmental quality of Milton Keynes city centre. Judges highlighted initiatives delivered by the BID’s in-house landscaping team, including large-scale lavender planting to enhance biodiversity, the installation of high-impact floral displays along Midsummer Boulevard, proactive street scene improvements such as Operation Bike Lock, and the revitalisation of Grafton Park, transforming an underused space into a cleaner, greener and more welcoming urban park.

Silver Award for City Centre Safety and Security

These awards recognise the dedication, professionalism and passion our public realm and safety teams bring to the city centre. Seeing their work recognised nationally means a huge amount to them and inspires us to keep delivering even more.”
