The Milton Keynes Comedy Festival 2026 is getting even bigger, with the launch of a brand-new Family Festival Day on Saturday 11 July - a full day of comedy, storytelling and interactive fun created especially for younger audiences and their families.
Developed by MyMiltonKeynes BID, in partnership with The Comedy Cow, the Family Festival brings together beloved children’s performers, high‑energy comedians and hands‑on experiences for a lively, laughter-filled programme from morning to evening.
With a jam-packed line-up, families can book individual shows separately, most priced at just £5, allowing them to build a personalised festival schedule that suits their day.
Mama G brings her joyful, inclusive storytelling packed with imagination and heart, while Comedy Club 4 Kids invites budding young performers to take part in a two-hour workshop where they can try stand-up comedy in a supportive, confidence‑boosting environment.

Award-winning comedian Spencer Jones brings his brilliantly surreal, visual comedy featuring a whirlwind of gags, characters and chaos that delights children and adults alike. Sci-fi fans can dive into A Star Wars Improv Show: The One-Man Made-Up Movie, where audience suggestions fuel a completely improvised space adventure performed live on stage.

Interactive fun continues with WiFi Wars, a fast-paced live gameshow where families compete in silly, high-energy challenges using their phones. Meanwhile, leading improv troupe The Noise Next Door hand the reins to the audience in Kids in Charge! - a show where children’s ideas shape the sketches, songs and scenes in real time.
All events will take place in 12th Street, which will be transformed into a buzzing festival hub for a day. Families can move easily between venues, discover new acts and enjoy a full day of accessible, high-energy entertainment in one central location.
Jill Farnsworth, CEO of MyMiltonKeynes BID, said: “The reaction to the Milton Keynes Comedy Festival has been phenomenal, and we’re delighted to extend that excitement to families. The Family Festival is a fantastic addition, giving younger audiences the chance to experience live comedy in a fun and engaging way.”
With a packed programme running across the long weekend, the Milton Keynes Comedy Festival is set to attract new audiences, support local businesses and shine a spotlight on the city’s growing cultural scene - offering something for everyone.
