Join us as we look at how we can collectively make sure Milton Keynes City Centre is ready to respond in the event of an emergency. Guest speakers include representatives from the Counter Terrorism Policing South East who will provide expert insight on emergency planning, helping organisations prepare and respond effectively to unexpected challenges - and what you need to know about Martyn's Law right now.
We’ll also have Professor of clinical traumatology and co-founder of charity CitizenAid, Sir Keith Porter, talking about the importance of staff awareness and training to enhance resilience and protect both employees and the public. He will talk about why structured decision-making is crucial in the first moments of an incident and how businesses can access low or no cost advice, training and equipment which can help save a lot of money.
Afterwards you can drop in and talk to the speakers, the My-MK team and meet with other key stakeholders, who are exhibiting, including:
Thames Valley Police
Safer MK / MK City Council
Office for Police Crime Commissioner
Counter Terrorism Policing
citizenAID
Natwest
