MyMiltonKeynes BID is hosting a free cyber security workshop next month, aimed at helping small businesses and sole traders better protect themselves from online threats.
Taking place on 23 June at Unity Place, the session is being delivered in partnership with the South-East Cyber Crime Unit and Santander, with a focus on making cyber security simple, practical and accessible.
The workshop is designed for businesses that may not have in-house expertise or feel that cyber security is too technical. Using real-life examples and small group sessions, attendees will be guided through the most common risks, including phishing and password security, and shown straightforward steps they can take to improve their resilience.
Rather than a traditional presentation, the session will be interactive, including hands-on exercises and opportunities to speak directly with cyber security specialists. The aim is to help businesses understand what is relevant to them and leave with clear, manageable actions.
The event runs from 8am to 10am and is free to attend, although spaces are limited and booking is required Cyber Security Workshop Tickets, Tuesday, June 23 • 8 AM - 10 AM | Eventbrite
