MyMiltonKeynes Helps Promote the Tour of Britain

MyMiltonKeynes BID was proud to help promote the Lloyds Tour of Britain cycling event that took place in Milton Keynes City Centre today.

The Tour of Britain is one of the UK’s biggest cycling events, and Milton Keynes was the perfect stage to host the excitement of the start of the third stage. With thousands lining the streets and 12th Street buzzing with energy, the event showed just how much our city can deliver when it comes to atmosphere, community spirit, and putting Milton Keynes on the map.

One of the core promises in the Refreshed Business Plan 2024-27 is: “To deliver, support and promote events that will bring people to the city.”

By actively supporting and promoting the Tour of Britain, MyMiltonKeynes helped to shine a spotlight on the city centre — driving footfall, boosting the local economy, and showcasing Milton Keynes as a destination for world-class events.
