Our BID Bobbies acted swiftly today, following a report of a suspected shop theft in Milton Keynes city centre over the BID radio system. They identified and detained a male heading away from the scene.

Security officers escort a person with a backpack and suitcase in a shopping mall. Bright store signs in the background, creating a busy atmosphere.

Working closely with store security and Thames Valley Police, the individual was arrested for further enquiries after additional items and multiple passports were discovered.

This incident demonstrates the strength of partnership working between the MyMiltonKeynes BID Patrol Officers, local retailers and the police and the effectiveness of the BID Radio scheme in tackling retail crime and supporting businesses across Milton Keynes city centre.
