Since July, Sam and the My Local Bobby private security team have been out and about, supporting businesses and working alongside the police and centre security teams to help keep our City Centre a safer, more welcoming place.
The feedback from businesses has been overwhelmingly positive – many have told us how much they appreciate the extra presence and proactive approach in tackling issues. Whether it’s providing reassurance to staff and customers, responding to incidents, or working in partnership with other agencies, the team is making a real difference.
Their role isn’t just about security; it’s about creating an environment where people feel comfortable to shop, work, and enjoy everything our City Centre has to offer.
