11 New CCTV cameras, installed throughout the BID area have been placed to make Central Milton Keynes a safer destination for visitors to work, visit and enjoy. In partnership with Milton Keynes City Council, as part of the Safer Streets project, MyMiltonKeynes Ambassadors carried out a comprehensive audit of the crime and anti-social behaviour hot spots, and cross referenced with a Thames Valley Police crime heat map to help determine the prime locations for the cameras to make them most effective at helping keep businesses and shoppers safe.
